- The Diary of a CEO is to hit the big screen - a special episode with former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson will get a world exclusive premier in six selected Cineworld cinemas in the UK and Ireland on Oct 8, a day before the podcast’s general release. - Podcast cross-promotion company PodRoll has launched PodRoll Video Promos in Apple Podcasts - a way to add video promos as the second item in a podcast feed to help promote shows. It takes advantage of Apple’s support of video downloads. There’s an example here.

SXSW Sydney has announced two dedicated stages for podcasting at the event, which takes place in mid October. There will be a number of live shows, and “Show Notes”, a podcast industry stage. (Podnews’s Editor will be there on Thursday).
